About
I earned my Masterson Method bodywork certificate in 2021, where I learned to use light touch and gentle body positioning to cue the horse’s self-correcting responses. I followed up with additional coursework in equine biomechanics and Ortho-Bionomy, specifically adapted for the horse. In addition, I trained in Reiki, which I have used in working with dogs as well as horses. I bring my love of physical movement and a commitment to partnering–to working with and not on my canine and equine companions–to further my understanding of how to connect with animals and my skill in helping them feel better in their bodies. Animal osteopathic training is the next logical step for me in my growth as an equine (and canine) bodyworker.

Additional skills
I enjoy dressage, competitive trail riding, and groundwork at liberty with my horse; agility and hiking with my family and two dogs; and learning languages and upholstery. My past work has included grant writing for nonprofits, creative writing, and community organizing.
