Greetings to all!

Welcome to the AOW space, where ideas, experiences, and concerns can be shared across our community in 40 countries. Animals worldwide speak one language and share the same health problems, with the quality of life depending on their treatment and care. Together we shall make the world of our four-legged companions a better place to live in!

EQUINE OSTEOPATHY

Consistent mobility is vital to a horse – it is the basis of everything an animal lives for. Using specific diagnostic techniques, an osteopath will assess the reasons for pain and provide appropriate treatment. Osteopathic care has proven to prevent injuries and improve performance in top competitors, ‘leisure’ animals, and family pets alike.

COMMON EQUINE CONDITIONS

Osteopathy is effective in treating the following conditions:
Problems with the back and neck
Problems with posture
Change in behavior when ridden and/or general behavior
Poor performance
Musculoskeletal injuries

CANINE OSTEOPATHY

Osteopathic care of dogs uses techniques developed in human osteopathy and adapted to the physical needs of the canine. With gentle manipulations, an osteopath assesses and treats joints, muscles, and fascia, restoring mobility, relieving pain, and improving the quality of an animal’s life.

COMMON CANINE CONDITIONS

Regular osteopathic care has proven helpful with:
Arthritis in aging dogs
Lameness
Spinal issues
Loss of performance
Mobility problems
Injuries from training ( agility and greyhounds dogs)
