About
I am 21 years old and from New Zealand, and horses have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Both sides of my family are deeply involved in the equestrian world, and I have played polocrosse for ten years, representing New Zealand internationally five times and completing two seasons in Australia.
These experiences have strengthened my horsemanship, adaptability, and ability to build trust with many different horses. Alongside this, I work full-time as a shepherd on a 1,000-hectare hill country property in the Manawatu, own five working dogs, and regularly work with young project horses.
I would love to pursue a career in equine osteopathy because I am passionate about helping horses feel healthy, comfortable, and happy. I have seen first-hand how proper bodywork can improve a horse’s movement, comfort, and overall well-being, especially in a physically demanding sport like polocrosse.
My motivation is simple: I want to support horses in feeling and performing at their best, and I can see this becoming a lifelong career.
