I would like to pursue a career in osteopathy because I am passionate about improving the quality of life of animals and helping owners better understand how to support their animals’ health and wellbeing.

The nature of the profession strongly appeals to me. I have previously used osteopathic treatment for my own competition dogs and horses, and I have seen the positive results it can bring in supporting comfort, movement, and performance.

To better understand the profession, I have also spoken in depth with osteopaths we have worked with in the past. These conversations have given me valuable insight into the practical aspects of the career, including working hours, client care, health and safety, professional responsibilities, and the risks involved in practice.

Through this, I have become confident that osteopathy is a career path that would be both meaningful and highly rewarding for me. I believe it would allow me to combine my love of animals with a professional role focused on improving their health, performance, and overall well-being.
