  • About

I have always been an animal lover and grew up surrounded by pets and horses. I began my career as a small animal veterinary nurse in 1998, qualifying as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2001. During this time, I developed a strong interest in rehabilitation, particularly after completing a practical physiotherapy course and seeing how hands-on techniques could improve an animal’s comfort, mobility, and quality of life.

After 15 years in veterinary nursing, I retrained as a diagnostic radiographer and now work part-time as a CT radiographer. Alongside this, I have developed my skills in holistic bodywork, massage, Reiki, animal Reiki, and applied kinesiology.

Although I have greatly enjoyed working with people through massage and energy therapy, my heart has always been drawn back to animals. A recent personal experience receiving osteopathic treatment deepened my interest in the profession and inspired me to explore this path further.

Discovering LCAO has made me feel genuinely excited about the opportunity to undertake high-quality, in-depth training and move toward a career that feels more aligned with my values, experience, and lifelong passion for animal care.
