About

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse with more than 25 years of clinical experience, I am deeply committed to advancing animal healthcare through continuous learning and professional development. I regard ongoing education not simply as an option, but as a daily responsibility to achieve the best possible outcomes for every patient.

My Professional Journey

A defining moment in my career involved caring for a Corgi who experienced significant post-operative pain and mobility difficulties following a femoral head ostectomy for congenital hip dysplasia. Although his pain was managed with NSAIDs, and a rehabilitation programme incorporating hydrotherapy and physiotherapy was introduced, his recovery was slower than expected.

This challenging case encouraged me to explore advanced and complementary approaches to support post-operative rehabilitation. Motivated by this experience, I pursued further professional training and qualified as an Animal Osteopath.

Today, I integrate osteopathic techniques, where appropriate, into comprehensive treatment and rehabilitation plans. I find it particularly rewarding to support animals throughout their recovery, enhance their mobility, and improve their overall quality of life.
